Lady Bird Johnson - 1912-2007

All men marry up, by definition. And there was no better example than that of LBJ marrying Lady Bird.

Lady Bird was always a picture of grace, so much so that she made even her husband look good when she stood beside him. This woman was no push over. When LBJ was in the Senate, this brainy woman managed their business affairs here in Texas and did quite well at it.

Her life long efforts to beautify our nation, true and honest environmentalism, will bear fruit long into the future. The world has lost a wonderful woman and a beautiful Texan.
